Two underutilized surface parking lots are being transformed into a $60-million mixed-use development designed to provide 158 multigenerational apartment homes ranging from studios to three bedrooms and a retail hub of 20,000 SQ FT. A 10,000 SQ FT public space will provide family-friendly activities including a water feature, inspired by Cleveland’s Downtown Public Square, an amphitheater and a lighted see-saw.
As the first multi-family residential LEED silver certified development on Cleveland’s west side, the Church & State project will greatly benefit from the integration of the Timberless-44 System with Structural Wall Panels. Steel, one of the world’s most sustainable construction materials, can be continuously recycled while maintaining its excellent quality. This, coupled with its strength and durability, make it truly compatible with long-term sustainable development. All Steel Systems may provide 11 points in 7 LEED v4 Credits.
Despite the project stalling several times before going live, the integration of All Steel’s Timberless-44 System with Structural Wall Panels is allowing significant cost savings by compressing the duration of construction, providing foundation cost savings, reducing insurance costs and shortening the time-frame of scaffolding and cranes needing to be on-site.
The project is scheduled to be fully complete in February of 2020.
All Steel's complete CFS systems allow for quicker erection of wall and floor packages by innovating & streamlining the traditional process. With vertical range of 4-12 stories, the end result is a durable, lightweight building shell package erected in less time.
