I chose to work at All Steel Mid-Rise because...I wanted to be a part of the future of the commercial construction industry.
I began my career in construction as...a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters as an apprentice in 1995. I always wanted to be a carpenter. The thing that I find most different is the amount of processes that have gone from the skilled craftsman performing the process of an automated prefabrication process.
My favorite project was… East Lansing Abott Apartments mixed use project because at the time it was our largest project, we were working with Walsh who was a new client, and the OCP crew that was on site was top notch.
The best part of working in the construction industry is… providing for my family while building structures for the community to use and live in that signify my presence there. I can drive through an area that I have worked in and see the result of my time there, and recall many memories from that project and the people I have built with.
